Today we took the time to check out some films of prospects we haven't seen. Some of you may already be familiar with these guys. These are some players we feel could see have a rise in their recruiting process this season. Let's check it out.

De'Montrel Medlock, ATH, Martin

Medlock is a very versatile player. He lines up at running back, receiver, and tight end. I'm a big fan of the way he plays the game. He has a lot of heart. You can see that on his film when he catches the football over the middle. Medlock has some nice size as well. He definitely has what it takes to be a division one player.

Michael Mason, DT, Waxahachie

Mason is a big guy that carries a heavy load. He is a major force in the middle. When I watched his film, I noticed that he does a great job of clogging the middle. I would love to see him at a showcase for more evaluations. From what I have seen, I am impressed. He does a great job of getting off blocks. Mason isn't the guy to give up a lot of ground.

Elijah Chaires, Waco Univ, LB

Chaires is a big boy with long arms. He can get off of blockers and get to the quarterback. He makes good open field tackles. Chaires needs to get to a showcase to be able to show his game against other great competition. He has good size, but needs to show off other great attributes. He is a guy to keep your eyes on.

Reed Dooms, QB, Gregory-Portland

Dooms is going to be a big time guy at quarterback. If he continues to work on his game the sky is the limit for him. Dooms gets the ball out on time. He has a quick release. I love the way he moves around in the pocket. He isn't scared to make the hard throws most quarterbacks don't want to make. He has elite arm strength. Dooms can make any throw that you need him to make. He is a guy we need to be keeping up with.
