What I’ll be looking for: Mechanics & Ranking
Enamored with what I see from afar, both in terms of what I see on tape and what I see in shorts and a t-shirt. I’m impressed with Carter Carroll Carter Carroll 6'3" | 205 lbs | QB Boston College | 2025 State NewE from a mechanical perspective. Everything before the throw looks seasoned, I can tell there’s attention to detail being given when training to limit bad habits. I’m excited to see his footwork, balance, and release up close. Carroll is expected to stay close to the top of his position this coming ranking update. Will his performance validate this upcoming placement?
What I’ll be looking for: Is he Rankable?
Carson Eutsay Carson Eutsay 6'1" | 225 lbs | LB Catholic Memorial | 2025 State NewE is a completely new prospect that I’ll be learning about. He won’t make our 2025 ranking update this coming week because of a lack of film. That being said, if Eutsay performs well at this camp, he’ll be on track to make the pre-season rankings. Plenty of prospects come into our camps on watchlist and leave ready to be ranked. Eutsay might be one of them.
What I’ll be looking for: Is the hype real?
Cameron Evora Cameron Evora 6'1" | 170 lbs | WR East Providence H.S. RI. | 2024 State NewE got the ranking nod from Roger Silva despite the lack of substantial tape. Silva speaks highly of Evora’s chances to blow up this coming season, I trust the seasoned Coach which is why Evora found an early, albeit modest, ranking. I’ll now get the opportunity to see Evora work up close and personal to see if the ranking and hype are warranted. Love what I’m seeing at 7v7’s. Excited to see it translate in the Fall.

What I’ll be looking for: Better OL or DL prospect?
I haven’t written an evaluation on Farley yet, but a close look at his tape has me excited about his potential on both sides of the football. He will undoubtedly place high on our next 2025 ranking update. The real question is just how high will he place and at what position? If the young man continues to blossom in terms of build, I have no problem ranking him as an OL, I don’t have a problem doing so at his current frame. His reps on defense make it a tough decision. Either way, this is a promising young talent that Worcester Academy will get to develop.

What I’ll be looking for: Top 15 linemen consideration?
Ranking 2024 offensive linemen, I was honestly splitting hairs between many of them outside of the top 50. Stephen Kirchdorfer Stephen Kirchdorfer 6'2" | 270 lbs | OL Plymouth South | 2024 State NewE is a prospect that could easily jump into the top 15 had I reranked the 2024 class today. Numbers 15-25 are all so close in regard to overall talent. Will Kirchdorfer’s performance blow me away, to the point that I’m confident he’s a top-15 lineman? I know he’s capable. Excited to see it unfold.
What I’ll be looking for: Does the ranking hold true?
Now at Worcester Academy. Some in the know believe I may have ranked Michael Macaione Michael Macaione 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL Worcester Academy | 2025 State NewE a bit too high. Much like the offensive linemen, I was splitting hairs between some of the defensive linemen that didn’t have offers. Macaione ended up on the high end of that DL-with-potential spectrum. Maybe that placed him too high? I don’t like to think so, I’m excited to see Macaione prove it on April 1st.

What I’ll be looking for: What’s his ceiling?
I haven’t done too much digging into the class of 2026 in New England yet. I did take a quick look at Lucas Magnifico Lucas Magnifico 6'4" | 200 lbs | LB Masconomet | 2026 State NewE ‘s freshman tape, however. I’ll save a true evaluation for a later date, let’s just say I came away impressed overall. I haven’t dived into the LB class yet, I’m uncertain where he’d stack against his New England counterparts. I imagine high. 6’4, 190lbs, already with substantial tape out of Masconomet HS. How high is this kid’s ceiling? What kind of grade will he get out of me? His performance on April 1st will tie into those decisions.
What I’ll be looking for: Am I wrong on his grade?
There is a ridiculous number of talented quarterbacks working out of New England. So much so, it makes talented kids like Alex McClelland Alex McClelland 6'2" | 215 lbs | QB Barrington | 2024 State NewE “fall” into the 30-50 range amongst his position. A glance at his overall ranking and you’d notice that McClelland still ranks relatively high. A top 250 grade is pretty much an FCS grade out of me. That being said, am I still too low on the young man? I get the feeling that I am. Seeing him live will answer that question.
What I’ll be looking for: MVP Favorite?
Speaking of prospects ranked too low, that’s Isaiah Reese Isaiah Reese 6'3" | 205 lbs | ATH Philips Exeter Academy | 2025 State NewE . If I had to pick a prospect to be the favorite to win overall MVP, I’d go with Reese, now out of Phillips Exeter Academy. The reclassified 2025 prospect will see a new rank this coming week, one that will better suit his skillset and production. Will the 6’3, 190-pound playmaker show up and dominate our camp? I have a feeling he will. Check out the insane year he had over a Gilford last Fall, Hudl is attached below.

What I’ll be looking for: Can he break into an FCS grade?
Juan Reynolds Juan Reynolds 6'1" | 170 lbs | ATH Doherty Memorial | 2024 State NewE graded outside of the top 250, yet stands as a top 70 athlete in his class. I would love nothing more than for Reynolds to show up and show how wrong I was on his grade. I hope he participates as a DB, his 6’1, frame should impress coaches in attendance. No matter where he decides to play, I’ll be expecting him to perform at a high level. I could see a future where Reynolds is a top 200 prospect.

What I’ll be looking for: Is he an FBS prospect?
I think this New Hampshire product has all the potential in the world. Now, after transferring and reclassifying to St. Thomas More, I’m under the impression that the coaching staff and elite level of competition could whip Logan Sheely into a true FBS prospect. I haven’t watched his tape yet, but I have a feeling the former Timberlane product will blossom right before our eyes. Excited to see him work in person. Sheely is coming off a Holy Cross visit just yesterday.
