Lucas Magnifico

He saw varsity action during 2022 season as a freshman linebacker on varsity.  Flip ahead, he earned the starting position again at linebacker for his team this season. At 6’4″ his large frame stands out.  Has obvious length in his arms and legs. This season he racked up 45 solo tackles, 26 assisted and 12 tackle for losses in just 6 games played. Another solid season for this rising sophomore. He can bend and is a solid open-field tackler. He can strike the ball carrier through the body or use a wrap-and-roll technique with his ability to bend.

He has worked hard in the off-season to help in his technical and athletic skills which continue to trend upward. His work ethic and size should attract many college programs moving forward.  His verified athletic testing numbers will be a determining factor as to what level he will land at the college level.

Before season play, we had him ranked as the # 3 linebacker in class of 2026 in New England.

Here’s a talented freshman LB/TE prospect out of Masconomet HS in Middleton Massachusetts. A legitimate 6’4, running a sub 5.0 40 as a freshman had me excited for his future. His work in Indi and 1v1 drills left me even more excited. He had a real chance at top performer honors for a while despite him missing the cut. That’s not important, what’s important is cutting on his tape and providing a real rank that exemplifies his skill set correctly. Excited to do that. Smooth operator in space, can’t say that about every 6’4 freshman TE prospect. This young man could blossom into a highly ranked prospect in no time. Magnifico might be scratching the surface of his potential.

Lucan Magnifico  is a 6’4″ 165lbs  and attends Masconomet Regional High School in Boxford, Ma. He was positioned at linebacker for his team this past season as a freshman on Varsity. He has a large athletic frame that has room for future growth and development.  rnAs a Freshman he has not seen any interest by any colleges “yet”. In my opinion, it’s just a matter of time before interest will easily begin to pick up.

He was a starter his first season game as linebacker and even got action as a tight end.  He started in about 90% of his team games over the season. Unfortunately we don’t have access to any stats but his highlight reel can speak for himself.

In view of his film, he plays down hill and attacks the opponent backfield with consistent effort each rep. He tackles through the body and with a very low pad level dispict being 6’4″.   He is very good at containment responsibility on the edge. On offense, he holds and sustains blocks and knows how to use good technique to turn his defender away from running lane.  Strong recruit with a very high ceiling and just getting started.
