WEST DES MOINES-- We keep rolling with the content from the Seneca Wallace/Octane Football Combine on Saturday at the RecPlex in West Des Moines. This standouts list crosses some state lines out the Hawkeye State into the Mount Rushmore State, which didn't have huge numbers, but they certainly made up for it with their play on Saturday. We also uncover a couple 2025 and 2026 prospects that are under the radar at this time, but with getting their first hit of exposure should open up some eyes here in the near future. Also, I have to mention one of the most durable running backs Iowa's 2024 class has to offer out of the Des Moines Suburbs. Time to rock and roll!

[player_tooltip player_id='210623' first='Elijah' last='Boutchee'], DE, Pierre TF Riggs (SD) 2025 Twitter

Elijah won a ton of 1v1 reps at the Seneca Wallace/Octane Football Combine that continuously showed off the athleticism we have seen at Prep Redzone Dakotas for well over a year now.

Despite not being 100%, he was a favorite amongst the coaches and scouts (including me) in attendance in the defensive line group as his elusive hands showed off a boatload of physicality with his consistent pad-level he gets on his reps. Elijah also shows off a plethora of versatility in his skillsets, as he has the athletic bend and leverage in his continuously growing 6'2 220 pound frame, as EJ seems to get bigger and stronger every single time I have evaluated him in the last year in a live-setting.

When the 2025 South Dakota rankings come out in a few weeks, you can bet based on the evaluations I have gotten on Elijah over the last few months that he will be a guaranteed stockriser coming form the 6-time state champions in Pierre TF Riggs. He certainly has a future in college football.

Isaiah Sanchez, LB, Sioux City North (IA) 2025 Twitter

There was not a more glued in linebacker in my eyes at the Seneca Wallace/Octane Football Combine than Sioux City North's Isaiah Sanchez and the well-versed instinct this kid showed off in West Des Moines.

Isaiah also showed off a competitive motor on the reps I caught in West Des Moines as he used all of his burst in his 5'11 195 pound frame consistently to unleash into the middle of the field where the football was.

I was extremely surprised that Isaiah doesn't have any junior tape available, but that points out how much of hidden gem this kid is out out of a loaded Sioux City North Stars squad. Excited to keep tracking this young man into summer and the 2023 season to see how much more development he can brew!

Hunter Sayasavanh, QB, Sioux Falls Washington (SD) 2026 Twitter

Hunter was another South Dakota prospect that I have gotten active eyes this spring in the 2026 class and is one I am excited to watch grow over the next three season for the Sioux Falls Washington Warriors.

Hunter shows off a strong quick release for his age when I got to watch him in Sioux Falls, and he continued growing with his progression in West Des Moines on Saturday as this kid has some outstanding arm strength engraved with his 5'10 180 pound frame.

He also has some intriguing poise in his skillsets, and although he is still raw on tape, the gains I have seen already this offseason should paint a solid picture into his sophomore year with the Warriors. Hopefully he can flourish in the 2023 season as Sioux Falls Washington's quarterback of the future in the coming years with his upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1238503' first='Brayden' last='Peck'], ATH, Cedar Rapids Kennedy (IA) 2026 Twitter

Brayden was a first look prospect for me in Iowa's 2026 class, as he showed off some good fluidity with his change of direction and showed off some elusive cutting ability with his route-running.

What popped out to me with Brayden's tape is how much he plays with a chip on his shoulder. He's not the biggest kid you will ever see on the field, but as a defensive back he plays bigger than his measurables show off at his age with his physicality.

Brayden for his age also shows off some good instincts, and I see those instincts growing significantly when we look at his as a football prospect in the coming years. He shows some development with his young age to have a knack for his ball-tracking ability and with that, can grow even more with his his quick trigger to the football. Right now I would label Brayden as an athlete, but his best fit positionally shows off a safety on tape as we look at him down the road. One of a few younger prospects from CRK that stood out in my eyes on Saturday at the Seneca Wallace/Octane Football Combine.

Menson Martin, RB, Johnston 2024 Twitter

Menson was a running back that I thought was one of the best in the RB group with how agile his hands were when I got to watch him in 1v1 reps as he showed a great understanding with his ball skills and good awareness with his route-running.

He also showed off a twitchy change of direction, which is a skillset I love seeing at the running back position. When I popped on the tape, there is a lot to like about Menson's durability as this young man has a chizzelled lower body that built to eat up contact for the long haul and when he extends his runs around the edges, he has the motor to run thru defenders versus around them. This also is very consistent throughout his tape which college coaches should love to watch in this 5'9 190 pounder from Johnston.

Menson is 100% percent what I would look for as a college football recruiter and I would expect this young man to have a big summer at camps showing off his versatile craft across the Midwest.
