Demitrias Fletcher Demitrias Fletcher 5’11” | 205 lbs | RB New London | 2025 State New E On January 8th, 2023, he announced his decision to transfer from the IMG Academy in Florida, to St. Thomas Moore in Connecticut. He is 5’11” 206lbs who is primarily a running back. He has an academic 3.4 GPA record and has speed with a 4.5 40 yrd recorded time.
His film review shows high level run speed with good power behind the pads. He has a second gear to pull away when being pursued. I am impressed with is muscle frame and body thickness. I can easily see him being used as an every down back. He is a can do everything back. He can get the short yardage and be a long yardage home run producer. Has very good hands coming out of the backfield and will help a team in the passing game also. Has blocking willingness and stays firm when being pressured by 1st level defenders.
He appears to be a Div 1 recruit with a high ceiling, He is drawing Div 1 interest that will increase as he continues to grow, develop and continue producing on the field.
Highlights
Ben Brooks Ben Brooks 6’0″ | 180 lbs | DB Bishop Hendricken | 2025 State New E He is a defensive back who is coming off a 2022 season where he produced 25 solo tackles and 18 assisted tackles for a total of 43 tackles during the season while playing safety. He stands 6’0″ approx 183 lbs and can deliver bone crushing hits when assisting with run support.
His film shows no hesitation in his steps toward any ball carrier and he actually accelerates his speed when he identifies his targeted ball carrier on the field of play. Basically he loves contact and his film shows this. He can bend with ease and flip his hips instantly to cover a lot of field. He has clips that show his ability to cover sideline to sideline with good quickness and obvious speed that can’t be ignored. This young man is a stock rising recruit who has just gotten started and will be making noise in his last two years of High School Ball.
He surely has the talent to play at the next level. Once his recorded speed times are accounted for at college camps, the level of play he will likely be recruited at will be determined. Excellent recruit with time for growth and development to be special.
Dermas Habtom Dermas Habtom 6’3″ | 225 lbs | DL Malden Catholic | 2025 State New E He is a 6’3″ 215lbs. Currently attends Malden Catholic School in Massachusetts. He is coming off a 2022 season where he was positioned at defensive end and tight end for his team.
In view of his film from the 2022 season, one can easily see he is extremely physical and gives consistent effort each rep. This is on botyh sides of the ball. On offense, he is a surefire blocker who knows how to be effective at chipping 1st level defenders and continuing to get to second level defenders for his ball carrier to see running lanes. He uses good technique with his hand placement and getting into the shoulder pads of his defenders and controlling the drive block. He maintains his blocks and will block until the whistle is blown. On defense, he uses his length to keep the edge and not allow ball carriers outside of him. He can get off blocks and react to ball carrier when needed. When he pursues opponents backfield, it is done with a low pad level while using his flexibility to beat his blocker. Has very good range and uses a wrap and roll technique when tackling.
This young man is just getting started and should see some college attention this spring 2023 and summer camp season. His range and aggressiveness can’t be ignored. Has plenty of time and room for additional growth and development.

Yariel Ortiz Yariel Ortiz 6’0″ | 170 lbs | ATH Everett | 2025 New E He is a recruit I was informed about during the 2022 season. He is 5’11” 180lbs with 4.6 40yrd recorded speed. He attends Brighton High School in Brighton Massachusetts.
In view of his film, he surely knows where the ball is when it’s in the air and he is being targeted. He will high-top or layout his body for any ball in his area to make a play. He is a smooth runner with ball in his hands that looks for the YAC. He has very good vision and knows how to avoid defenders while getting upfield into running lanes. quickly. Solid reliable hands are visible. A clip at the 1:29 mark, shows his athletic balance and body control ability to make difficult catches. He gets off the snap of the ball with good burst and understanding of his route running needs to find a opening in zone coverages. I would like to see some clips of him being covered in Man press but overall a good athlete with good athletic coordination who can make plays.
He will likely see a few coaches checking in on him this spring 2023, and followed by selective summer camp invites.

Connor Hennessey Connor Hennessey 6’3″ | 195 lbs | QB Byfield The Governor’sAcademy | 2025 State New E A rising quarterback that played behind a senior QB during 2022. He attends The Governor’s Academy in Massachusetts. He is 6’2″ 195lbs and projected to take over the reigns for his team in fall 2023.
In view of his limited film, He is a RPO qb who will tuck the ball and go when running lanes are visible during his read. He has good accuracy with his short throws while getting the balll out quick. His team is a run heavy team, so he likely will not be asked to make many throws as he enters his varsity years ahead. He does have a command presence in the pocket. His Freshman film helps show his true abilities and the expected athletic impact he will have as he moves up into the leading role.
I expect he will be ready for action by fall 2023 and by the end of the season his name will be one many will hear and know.
