Mikey has one of the most eye-catching releases off the start of his routes out of any 2026 prospect in the Dakotas in my eyes. He also plays with outstanding finish on every route I have watched on tape, which shows off why he is also a stud running the 400-meter as well, as a slot receiver that just picked up his first offer this Spring from Augustana and I am sure more offers incoming his way. He has himself a bigger catch radius too than you would expect for his size and man, does the football IQ show off for Mikey on just about every route as a 2026 stockriser already in this class.

The high-level of elusiveness Mikey shows off on tape is why I had him penciled as ATH1 in our 2026 South Dakota rankings.
This young man has excellent change of direction skillsets with the ball in his hands and I would assure he’s likely the top athlete in this 2026 class in all of the Dakotas from my eyes on both states.
Even with not being the biggest kid out there, Mikey has much more durability than he might not get as much credit for as he should as his ability to get downhill in high-traffic areas is certainly intriguing from what his sophomore tape rolled out.
