Harmon is one of the top prospects on the West Coast and is one of the more sought after defensive players across the region. He has the ideal build and length for the inside, and is an elite athlete with interior pass rush abilities, a powerful initial strike and can one or twp gap with effectiveness and line reset. He shows a high motor when pursuing backside, can destroy pullers and trappers and shows quick redirection and movement in space behind the line. The Inglewood product checks into our ranks as a top 3 player across the defensive line.

Harmon was one of the better athletes of the defensive line group and looks bigger than the size he is listed at. He gets off the ball very well and his body is under control even when he is gaining major ground on power moves.

Harmon checks into our rankings as the number two defensive lineman is this loaded 2027 class up front, and is a stout defensive tackle with good twitch, violent hands and tons of power coming from the inside. He has an elite first step off, creates immediate knock-back with inside hands and lockout, while able to take on double teams and shows quick block recognition in the inside when defeating drives, reaches and scoops. As good as he is against the run, he has fluid hips in pass rush situations with active hands and seems to always have a pass rush plan pre-snap. Harmon already has offers from Florida, ASU, Cal and Washington State and will be another 20 + offer guy by the time his prep career is over.

is a big-time shutdown defensive lineman out of the class of 2027. Coming out of the Golden State, Elija is already standing over 6 feet tall, and weighing over 250 pounds. With his pure size and strength, Elijah looks to be the part when he is on the field. From what I have seen of the IB Braves 13U athelte, Elija is an absolute force. With his ability to break through the offensive line with ease, Elija consistently shutdown plays before they even start. With Elija being such a big dude, he can use his strength to move people around and tackle ball carriers without much effort. Another thing that really jumped out to me is that Elija is very athletic. He is capable of changing direction quicker than most other athletes of his size. Like everything else, his athleticism makes it very difficult for anyone to stop Elija. Having said all of this, I believe that Elija is one of the better defensive linemen in this 2027 class. It won’t be long until Harmon makes a name for himself on the big stage down the road.
