Expert Analysis
Michael Huntley | Prep Redzone Scout
Jahn was one of the most pleasant surprises of the day for me. He was hitting receivers right out of their breaks on in-breaking and out-breaking routes. Jahn looked comfortable with the footwork in the later drills and was delivering great balls throughout the camp.

Jahn transferred to Inglewood for his sophomore season and made an immediate impact throwing for 2,800 yards and 25 touchdowns. Throws a good ball with smooth arm action and a quick/compact over the top release point while generating velocity with good hip and shoulder rotation. Demonstrates the ability to make all the necessary throws, showing he can zip a ball with velocity into a tight window at the short/intermediate levels or throw with touch vertically. Like his anticipation and ability to throw his receivers open while hitting them coming out of the break. Precise footwork in the pocket, he’s under control and calm as he scans the field landing and throwing with a balanced platform to boost quick delivery and accuracy. Shows good pocket mobility/footwork manipulating pressure and avoiding the rush to create secondary throwing windows. Holds five D1 offers to date.

Impressive young QB with plus arm strength and accuracy as a passer. At 6’1” 175 lbs. he’s a good athlete that can move the offense with both his arm and his legs. Like his field vision and post snap decision making showing good eye discipline to process his reads, identify open receivers, and decide when to release the ball. Demonstrates the ability to anticipate his throws and be accurate on timing routes to hit his target as they come out of the break. Good ball placement throughout his drop back allows for a quick delivery when he pulls the trigger or when under pressure with defenders in his face. Does a good job extending the play by avoiding the rush and is not afraid to take shots to stretch the field vertically. Doesn’t lose accuracy or velocity when throwing from off balance platforms. Holds two offers already from Georgia State and Sacramento State.

– No.9 Quarterback
– Jahn and the Hub City 14U D2 team had one of the smallest team in terms of numbers in the 12U-14U brackets at AYF Nationals, but still managed a fifth place finish
– Jahn has a strong arm and a lot of potential with his athleticism. To even make it out of Southern California alone, means ya’ gotta be doin’ somethin’ right

showed a lot of ability and a very strong strong right arm. Jahn was QB1 for the Hub City 14U team out of Carson and helped lead the team to a third place finish in the 14U D2 bracket. At 5-foot-10 with some big offensive linemen in front of him, he did a good job of climbing the ladder and stepping up in the pocket. Kept his eyes down field at all time and trusted his guys. Also has some unassuming athletic ability that was showcased specifically in their game against the Mattapan Patriots (Massachusetts) where he threw a TD pass after rolling out and receiving a toss-back from a running back that was in trouble, on an attempted jet sweep.
