The Class of 2024 is going to be one of the best that WI has put out in a long time. It is chalk full of kids that I believe will play at a D2 level, and there is a ton of FBS/FCS talent. Many of those kids with D1 talent have started receiving scholarship offers from that level of competition. However, there are several student athletes who I have graded out at that level without an offer at this time. That is the focus of today's article. I want to dive into the athletes that I believe we will soon see earn their first D1 offer.

The 2024 OL group here in WI is special, and right near the top is Rumohr. He has excellent size and length at 6'5u0022 290 lbs. Grey's anchor and play strength are elite. He easily negates his opponent's strength with force and stoutness. His hand usage is exceptional as well. Grey seems to always have great hand placement, and he gets that thanks to how quickly his hands are. That quickness paired with the power behind them leads to a devastating initial punch. The monster of an OL plays in space very well too. He can get to LB depth front side and backside. He is very quick and an easy mover while getting out to the second level. There is so much more to like, but the last major trait that stands out is his body control. He always plays with a wide base, shoulders over his toes, doesn't reach for defenders, and can change direction with ease. When things get rolling for Greyden they will pick up steam quick. He is u0022must knowu0022 as a prospect.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700c8b6"} /-->

The OL side of the ball is where I am blown away by his game. It is also where I think he will earn a D1 offer in the near future. The 6'5 u0022260 lbs center has an elite frame to continue to fill out. It looks perfectly molded for the D1 level. Steven has special reactive athleticism for the IOL. He is able to mirror and match the movements of interior defensive linemen. His light feet and natural movement skills allow him to establish and sustain body position vs defenders. Scott III is also very tough at center. He attacks defenders in the run game. He finishes every block he can. In the run game, Steven is great at generating movement. This is the #1 IOL without a D1 offer in WI.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700c939"} /-->

What he does have locked down is that he is the top WR without a D1 offer so far. The next level should be excited about the young man from Janesville Parker. He has rare size for the position at 6'5u0022 215 lbs. Right from the first play you can see that he has elite hands. He plucks the ball out of the air naturally with his hands. He can also make the highlight reel catch. Douglas uses his frame to create separation as well as his instincts vs coverages. He seems to always know where the soft spots are. After the catch, JJ is a monster with the ball. That bi frame packs a lot of power. Lastly, JJ makes the contested catches look easy. Don't miss out on the massive target.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700c992"} /-->

The left tackle is massive at 6'4u0022 310 lbs. Nino's anchor in pass protection makes him nearly impossible to bull rush. He plays with such sound technique of a wide base, weight over his toes that defenders can't get him off balance. Baier also has the hands of a dominant lineman. They can deliver pancake making punches. They are quick, and they are constantly moving. His range is just as impressive. The second level is easily accessible for Nino. He can cut off LBs and will send them to the ground with his heavy hands. He is rising quickly. Don't miss out.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700c9e4"} /-->

Mitch has the size you want, 6'4u0022 280 lbs. He has the talent to be able to gain positive yarsd after contact with a defner in the run game. His ability to stay upright while gerneating movement is thanks to his base and balance. Verstegen seems to always be able to get his hands placed perfectly on the chest plate of his man. From there he is able to bury his man or drive them far out of the play.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700ca2f"} /-->

First off, his 6'7u0022 220 lbs frame has rare length and plenty of room to continue to fill out. I'm blown away by his explosive quickness. He flies out of his stance, closes on the OT, and then has a long list of ways to defeat the OT. His change of direction on a dime is special for a kid his size. His top end speed gives him the ability to chase down ball carriers in the backfield, from behind. Ross' hands are equally as quick. They aren't the strongest yet, however, they are able to get him clean of the OL hands to the point where he can shed the block. Liegel is the most raw prospect in this article, but he might have the most potential also.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700ca7e"} /-->

The 65u0022 260 lbs DT has turned himself into a dominant force along the interior of the Delavan- Darien defensive line. His playing strength is his best trait. Conner easily negates his opponent's strength with force and stoutness. He maintains leverage throughout the battle until he defeat the block. His ability to shed is special as well. There are reps in his highlights where he sheds so quickly it's hard to catch it. He almost bursts right through block attempts at times with his vastly superior strength. Teams looking for help controlling the line of scrimmage need to check this kid out.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-63daf3700cac8"} /-->
