After watching Lincoln Christian back in the spring, and seeing their strong offensive line, we thought that senior running back Moses Fullingim Moses Fullingim 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK was primed for a big senior season. It’s hard to argue that it hasn’t played out like that. Fullingim has nearly 1,500 yards on the ground this season and has 20 touchdowns this fall. He’s done an excellent job replacing John Washington at the running back position this season. Fullingim was known more as a defensive lineman prior to this season. But this fall, there haven’t been many running backs in Class 3A that have dominated like Fullingim.

Senior running back Moses Fullingim Moses Fullingim 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK was a player we were excited to see coming into this season. Last year, he was known more for his defense as a defensive end but with the graduation of John Washington, he’s moved over to the running back role and has had a solid season so far. He ran for two touchdowns in each of Lincoln’s first three games this season and he comes into this week with over 550 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. In their closest game against Shiloh Christian, Fullingim ended up being a workhorse. He had 25 carries for 144 yards in the 20-14 win. The Bulldogs take a lot of pride in being balanced on offense and Fullingim packs a punch at the running back position. But he’s not alone in the backfield. Fellow senior Sawyer Brooks Sawyer Brooks 5'10" | ATH Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK is also doing a good job of toting the rock when Fullingim is out of the game.

After seeing what Lincoln Christian did with John Washington at running back last season and then seeing 2024 running back Moses Fullingim Moses Fullingim 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK in the spring, we were incredibly high on him being a breakout star for the Lincoln offense. He looked the part on Friday night as he was arguably their best weapon on the offensive side of the ball. He took Lincoln’s first offensive play 91 yards to the house and that was just the start of a dominant night for the Lincoln senior. Fullingim would finish with 174 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 16 carries. He also added 99 yards on four catches and a touchdown receiving. With Lincoln’s offensive line and Fullingim’s ability, he’s going to have a big season.

Last season, one of the breakout stars in Oklahoma was Lincoln’s John Washington at the running back position. He ended up leading the team in rushing and was third in receiving as well. His replacement is 2024 running back and defensive lineman Moses Fullingim Moses Fullingim 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK and he’s going to bring something different to the Lincoln offense. He’s bigger than Washington and has the ability to be a workhorse running back within the Lincoln offense. The Lincoln coaches like to get creative within their offense so they’re going to do some unique things with him moving forward. Look for him to be the next breakout star from Lincoln’s high-powered offense. He’s going to blow up as a running back and turn around and cause problems at defensive end.

We mentioned the strength of the Lincoln Christian offensive line and 2024 running back Moses Fullingim Moses Fullingim 6'0" | 195 lbs | RB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK is a player that is going to benefit directly from those guys returning. Fullingim got on our radar last fall as Lincoln’s backup running back to John Washington John Washington 5'9" | 175 lbs | ATH Lincoln Christian | 2023 State OK and was a standout along the front seven of the defense. With Washington graduating, Fullingim gets the opportunity to be the marquee back of the Lincoln Christian offense. And with him and quarterback Luke Milligan Luke Milligan 6'2" | 185 lbs | QB Lincoln Christian | 2024 State OK returning, along with that experienced offensive line, the Bulldog offense should remain near the top of the scoring ranks in Class 3A. Fullingim is going to provide Lincoln Christian with a more traditional running back that can carry the ball 20-25 times a game and is a powerful runner. He showcased that power several times throughout the camp.
