It was my fourth time seeing Harris Jr. play live since December, and while it wasn’t his best day, he’s still a prospect that people are going to hear about. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Maryland native’s dual-threat ability didn’t translate the best in a camp setting, but the kid can play–trust me on that. He’s on the 2027 PRZ Next National Watchlist for a reason.

Harris Jr. is a grown man playing eighth-grade football right now, complete from the looks to the deep voice to the ability on the field. Saw him play on the same all star team as Dickerson (above) in December, and the duo was back at it again at practice. In my notes I have Cam Newton 2.0 written down because of his size and skill set. He’s every bit of the 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds I have him listed at–even playing defensive end on the defensive side of the ball (if asked to). Does not get rattled in situations and keeps his cool to deliver catchable footballs. Doesn’t have the prettiest throwing motion or smoothest ball in the world, but there’s no denying this kid has “next level” written all over him.

-A big Quarterback no matter how you cut it, at 6-foot-1 and 195-pounds he looks more like a Defensive End than a Quarterback when you first see him in the flesh

-While he doesn’t have the speed that Cam Newton played with, Harris Jr.’s game is very reminiscent of the 2015 NFL MVP. They both can torch you with their arm but also will take off and aren’t afraid to lower a shoulder if it means picking up a few more yards

-Watching him live at AYF Nationals in early December, something that will never show up in the stat sheet, but he was a quiet leader all week long. Didn’t do a lot of talking and messing around, but let his play do the talking
