This game was full of gang tackling, forced screen plays, QB pressures, downfield jump ball shots, false starts, and a handful of trick plays. All the scoring action only took place in the fist quarter, but there was some highlighted catches and big tackle breaking first down runs throughout the four quarters. Though a low scoring 8-7 game, I wouldn’t say the defenses were so good that each offense could not move the ball. As always, it’s completely apparent when watching an All-Star game that only practices a couple of times, and the expectations are set high just because everyone had success individually. Something as simple as repetition and chemistry become your achilles heel. The coaches did a good job mixing up the schemes and there were 8 players that I felt really performed.
