We seen some high flying, hard hitting, and slobber knocking match ups all across the state. Round four featured some superlative performances and the athletes that are listed below did a great job improving their recruiting stock and helping their team advance to the next round of the playoffs.
Rashaad Johnson Rashaad Johnson 5'9" | 210 lbs | RB North Shore | 2023 State TX – North Shore – Class of 2023
Rashaad is an explosive downhill running back that has been a catalyst for the North Shore run game in the play offs thus far and was played lights out in round four. He is a shifty and explosive athlete that has a lot of wiggle in his game and he has the ability to seamlessly get in and out of his cuts. He did a great job making one cut the accelerating north and south. They have dominated teams with their rushing attack and will need to continue their momentum as they face off against a stout Westlake High defensive front.
Colin Simmons Colin Simmons 6'3" | 225 lbs | DL Duncanville | 2024 State TX – Duncanville High school- Class of 2024
Colin is an explosive five star edge defender that has given opposing offensive coordinators trouble all year. He has an overwhelming first step and a bevy of pass rush moves at his disposal. Last week he made play after play and applied consistent pressure on the Westfield Quarterback. His is a shifty athlete with great closing speed and gets sideline to sideline in a hurry. He will need to continue to play well and be consistent as they face off against a stout Prosper front seven.
Zach Barnhouse – Prosper High – Class of 2023
Zach is a 6’2 250 pound interior offensive line prospect that has done a great job for his squad this fall and played very well last week. He is a savvy center that has good feet, a nice punch, and has put some good technique and put some very physical blocks on film. He did a great job of gaining movement at the point of attack in the run game. In round five he will have to keep bringing the intensity as they face off against a stacked Duncanville defensive front.

Benjamin Taylor-Whitfield – Duncanville High- Class of 2023
Benjamin is a 6’5 280 pound offensive tackle that completely blown up over the summer and has played well throughout the fall. He has a long frame, great feet, a good punch, and shown great patience and violence in pass protection.
During the playoffs he has noticeably taken his game and level of intensity to a new level. In round four the TCU commit was absolutely dominant and blanked out and covered up his opponent all night.

Ellis Davis – Prosper High – Class of 2024
Ellis is a 6’7 290 pound offensive line prospect that stood out and popped on tape in round four. He is a massive tackle that has good feet, great length, and a ton of room to add mass to his 290 pound frame without losing any athleticism. He has a bevy of scholarship offers from places like Mizzou, SMU, and Bowling Green. He will have to continue to play well as he will face off against one of the most talented defensive fronts that he will see all year in the Duncanville High front seven.
