is an old-school type who is completely comfortable putting his hand down in a 3-point stance. He is probably one of the best blocking tight ends in Pennsylvania. He is excellent at firing off the ball and blocking all different types of defenders. Then, when he blocks them, he has the strength to drive off the ball edge players and linebackers. In the passing game, he is excellent as well. He does a good job of running routes and constantly getting open. He is good at chipping on the line of scrimmage and then dropping in the flat to catch passes. He is also good at deeper routes by running downfield to catch the ball. Kerchner is a talented tight end who can do it all on the football field.

, the highest-ranking Ram outside of Zollers, will suit up for his junior campaign, being one of the sole returning pass-catchers Zollers gets to work with. Boy is he a good one. Kerchner is a personal favorite of mine, a prospect whose tape I have sent across the country, far and wide. I do so because I’m willing to stamp his current status as one of the more under-recruited prospects in all of Pennsylvania. I preface this by saying things could be much worse, Kerchner has recently heard back from an FCS school in the form of a scholarship offer, it being his first from Harvard. There are plenty of deserving juniors who don’t have a lick to their name, yet I’d argue Kerchner is a group of five TE, I have experience seeing what that type of TE looks like, Ryan fits the mold. Maybe suitors are waiting for more production, more undeniable tape. Kerchner could help alleviate any questions with a dominant first month beside Zollers. If I were a betting man, I’d call on Kerchner sooner rather than later. Kerchner currently ranks as the third-best tight end among his 2026 classmates.

The 6-foot-5 tight end was impressive on film. Presents a big target for Zollers often in the middle of the field and uses his size to his advantage both with and without the ball. Flashes solid athleticism as well. Has been impressive through his first two years with Spring-Ford and continues to project as one of the best players in the class of 2026. I do wonder if he contniues to grow if he may be better suited to play offensive tackle at the next level similar to 2025 tight end / defensive
