Mainly aligning at inside slot, the 6'4 pass-catcher has the smarts and the hands to get off the LOS, find a hole in the zone, sit in it, and catch heaters from his star junior quarterback in the intermediate game. Kochvar is valuable enough in this role, he could be featured on every passing down if the coaching staff liked. His game expands a bit further, peeling off of short routes and striding downfield. Great body control and a big frame allows him to act as an ideal downfield threat. You can't forget about his complete skillset that could suit him at other positions at the next level, those being DE or OLB. Solid movement skills to get out in front of the play at guard, he's picking apart LBers and DBs often because of this. Can align inside or outside the A-gaps. Love his motor and effort down the line. Nicotera doesn't always scream into the backfield, he does a hell of a job owning his gap no matter what side of the ball he's on. Gap control and brains are what you're going to get from Nicotera, that's the floor he provides. Those in and around Northampton know how vital this kid's game is to the program, he's trying to prove he holds the same value at the next level. His subtlety when running routes is impressive. There's an understanding of leverage, he's quick in short areas. Richardson might not have the stride but he certainly has homerun-hitting speed, not every 5'7 prospect can say that. Body control in and out of his cuts, would be an impressive camper or combine tester. Every year I cut on the Richardson tape and see more of the same two-way dominance that I've seen for nearly two years. One offer out of Westminster College. Tyler Leekin's full efforts as a high school prospect has led to a ton of interest from numerous local schools. Leekins might be holding off a commitment to see if any new suitors show their faces. The young man might be worth it. It's always been tough to decide which side of the ball Leekins might be best suited, a wonderful problem to have. This Fall, his 8-week tape showed a great blend of WR and DB skills. 14 receptions for 230+ yards, 3 TDs on offense, doing damage from a myriad of alignments. Slight frame that doesn't appear to be driven off his route easily, although that might be a worry at the next level. 13 tackles, 20 PBUs, and 1 INT at DB, the position I think he has a future in. He's gained a chip on his shoulder because of the relatively slow recruiting campaign he's seen thus far. Plugging in his latest senior tape, within the first minute you can get a feel for the versatility Minium brings to the table. First play, he shows off his vision and acceleration on a QB keeper that goes 60+ for a score. Next play shows his ball skills and awareness at DB, securing an interception that he takes the distance. Next, reps at RB that show off his outside lane pacing and home-run hitting ability. I've called him a playmaker before, his newest tape proves it yet again. Ten minutes littered with quality reps.
