Last week, Brady Bentley Brady Bentley 5'7" | 165 lbs | WR Shelby Valley | 2024 State KY performed superbly at the receiver position for his Shelby Valley High School offense. Playing against East Ridge High School, Brady put up a ridiculous 230 receiving yards & 5 receiving touchdown performances off only 9 receptions! Brady utilizes his speed and crafty footwork to make sharp jukes around defenders to create separation after the catch. Bentley also inherits great route-running skills that enable him to get enough separation to make the catch and have room to run. Brady plays the game with a lot of quickness and IQ and this helps him succeed and put up insane stat lines like he did last week. I would not be shocked if he had another similar performance, like this one, in the upcoming postseason.

Brady Bentley Brady Bentley 5'7" | 165 lbs | WR Shelby Valley | 2024 State KY is a crafty wide receiver who excels at creating separation from opposing defensive backs and getting himself open for passes. Bentley, the 5’7 165lb 2024 grad from Shelby Valley High School, had a fantastic 2022 campaign as he recorded 57 receptions for 1,208 receiving yards & 13 receiving touchdowns in 13 games played (21.2 yards per reception; 93 yards per game). Although not the biggest or tallest high-level receiver prospect in the Bluegrass State, Bentley utilizes his skills through his superior route running. Before the ball snaps, Brady has a great instinct to determine where there are certain gaps in the secondary for him to head for them which will enable him to receive the ball a lot easier. In many cases, this gives the quarterback enough room to make a good throw to Bentley so he can continue gaining more yards after the reception. Brady also inherits outstanding lateral quickness which allows him to make impactful change-of-direction jukes to maneuver himself past incoming defenders. This helps him either create separation before the throw or to create more yards once he has already caught the toss. Brady plays the game with tons of game IQ and strategy which is unlike many of the other receiver prospects in the state. For that reason, he would make a great asset to any team at the next level.

After the catch, Bentley uses his speed to get up the field and break away from the defense.
