Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Peacock did a lot of learning on the spot and growing up last year, which should ultimately be good for his development. He is firmly on the D1 radar, and we have him ranked here at PRZ as the 2nd best QB in Georgia, as it stands today. He is a true dual-threat who can put some horsepower on the ball, but he is really a difference maker in space. He can create and lift off in space to generate explosives. Peacock is a playmaker who should play more efficiently as a sophomore.

Christion Peacock Christion Peacock 6'1" | 175 lbs | QB Walton | 2028 State GA is the older brother of the pair in the Walton program. He has quickly become one of the faces of layers inside the class of 2028, both in the state and in the nation, as he has all the talent one could want out of a gunslinger in the 2028 class. He has some great targets to get the ball to, and I believe he will be someone who outshines the majority of the competition. He is inside the top-30, but outside of the top-25, which will be important to keep tabs on as the season progresses.

One of the top 2028 quarterbacks in Georgia, Peacock is a dynamic, speedy dual-threat quarterback who can score from anywhere on the field with his legs. A promising passer who really shined for the Walton Raiders as a sophomore last season, Peacock is quick, mobile, and dangerous when he gets through the line of scrimmage and out in the open field. He’s one of the fastest quarterbacks in Cobb County who ran for 717 yards and 10 touchdowns last season. Look for him to create more big plays on the ground next fall as a junior.

An impressive dual-threat quarterback in the 2028 class with outstanding arm talent and natural athleticism, Peacock hasn’t even started a varsity game yet but is starting to see his recruitment pick up. The rising-sophomore earned a new offer from the Toledo Rockets and should see a lot more come his way over time. He’s a promising passer with loads of talent, and his time is coming soon. He’ll be pushing for the starting quarterback job for the Walton Raiders this season, and if he wins the job, Peacock has a chance to have a “breakout” sophomore season in 2025. He’s currently ranked as the No. 3 QB in the state for the 2028 class.

is an early candidate for QB1 in GA’s 2028 class. Peacock is an impressive athlete with a natural, elastic release. Last year, I saw him work at WR, where he fit in perfectly and was a tough assignment for older DBs. Peacock is waiting in the shadows behind 2027 QB

A big-time prospect on the rise who will eventually see his time at quarterback, Peacock is a fantastic overall athlete who should be able to help North Cobb in different ways as a sophomore next fall. He’s a natural athlete with impressive arm talent who has been working really hard at his craft over the last several months. There’s a lot of hype surrounding him and the hype appears to be real. This dual-threat quarterback is ranked as the No. 3 QB and the No. 16 overall prospect in Georgia for the 2027 class.

A dynamic, dual-threat quarterback to keep a close eye on next season, this promising passer will take over at a powerhouse North Cobb program and should have plenty of weapons around him next season. North Cobb is loaded with talented lineman, receivers, and a talented young running back that will allow Peacock to grow both as a passer and a runner next fall. He brings good size for his age, he’s fast, and he’s working hard to keep developing more and more as a passer. He shows a live arm and one of the strongest arms across the area, and likely the entire state, in the 2028 class. Look for Peacock to have a possible “breakout” season with big offers to come his way down the road.
