Davis was another prospect I was able to evaluate at the All State Preps camp. He wasn’t named one of the Top 3 performers of the day, but he made a strong case for the No. 3 spot in particular. I’ve seen him a few times in the past year. Davis impressed me with being able to get wins at all three levels during the 1v1 session. Like most young receivers, he’ll have to be more explosive. I thought he did a great job dealing with the physicality at the line of scrimmage during the 1v1 session. It was the best I’ve seen of him at an event.

Davis Set to Bring Playmaking Ability to Mount St. Joseph
Davis, a standout at the rec level, is looking to carry his playmaking ability to the high school stage at Mount St. Joseph. In his 7-on-7 film with Level 82, he immediately flashes elite body control and natural ball skills, navigating defenses and making catches look effortless.
He consistently finds openings across the middle of the field and shows the toughness to haul in receptions through contact, traits that translate well to the next level. Whether it’s creating separation with crisp routes or securing contested catches, Davis proves he’s more than ready for the spotlight.
As the regular season approaches, look for Davis to bring that same dynamic energy to the field. Keep an eye on the young receiver, he’s poised to make an impact.

Davis had one of the top catches during the 1v1 session, a contested one on a go-route. The defender had tight coverage but kept his concentration and secured the ball. He did a good job of route stemming on one rep, setting up a slant by initially stemming outside. Davis also caught a short-route pass. He looks much smoother when he keeps his hands close to his body while running his routes. Would like to see Davis continue to work on his releases against press coverage and getting separation on deep routes.
