QB [player_tooltip player_id='336936' first='Matt' last='Irwin'], Owyhee HS

Irwin is hands down one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the state. He has a big time arm downfield, while able to complete balls efficiently underneath and take off/throw on the run when needed. Possessing a quick release when throwing downfield, he squares his shoulders and puts nice zip on the ball while able to throw into tight windows. He has more than established himself as a candidate to crack our 2024 PRZ rankings.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='412916' first='Luke' last='Selto'], Kuna HS

Selto is a big bodied receiver on the outside that is a mismatch nightmare against smaller defensive backs. He has a big catch radius, wins 50/50 balls and is a long strider with a second gear to get into the open field and create some separation. Although still growing and developing, he is a no brainer next level player.

RB [player_tooltip player_id='484474' first='Ryken' last='EchoHawk'], Pocatello HS

The talented Junior back just picked up his first offer from Idaho State and it would not surprise me if other in-state colleges and schools around the Big Sky took a hard look at EchoHawk. He is a very elusive ball carrier with good vision and a third level gear while running low to the ground and tough to tackle in one on one situations.

WR [player_tooltip player_id='484473' first='Noah' last='West-Baranco'], Melba HS

West-Baranco is the next up and coming receiving threat out of the state and is a big time prospect at 6'4" and 200 pounds. At the halfway mark through the season, he had nearly 500 yards receiving already and 4 scores. He is a big bodied long strider that created immediate separation against press man and zone coverage and is a big time downfield threat. He tracks the ball well in the air, can adjust to 50/50 balls and is strong with the ball in his hands, easily breaking body tackles with contact balance. Downfield, he excels at getting into corners blind spots and baiting safeties into breaking early. Although still raw and developing, due to his frame, size, speed and natural abilities he is a very intriguing prospect with upside at the college level.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='484475' first='Trevor' last='McKenna'], Borah HS

McKenna is the next great offensive/defensive lineman to come out of the state of Idaho. He has a big frame, good length and feet while able to pack on more muscle and mass to his frame as he progresses through high school and into college. He is a very physical player at the POA with violent hands, solid leg drive and a nasty finish. He is athletic in space, can block linebackers at the second level and creates immediate vertical push in the interior run game. Defensively, he is very explosive off his first step, shows twitch and a quick use of hands in pass rush situations while winning with both speed and power. Against the run, he shocks quickly, locks out blockers and is a violent shedder while controlling his gaps and showing closing speed/lateral COD abilities in the box.

OL [player_tooltip player_id='484472' first='Kyle' last='Miller'], Thunder Ridge HS

Miller is another top offensive lineman in the '24 class across Idaho. He should fit nicely at guard at the next level and is a downhill mauler with strength at the POA and good leg drive through contact. a true phone-booth blocker, he displays quick feet and some lateral quickness for someone his size while patient in pass protection.
