is one of the better quarterbacks on the nation. Now it is time for him to prove it against one of the better group of quarterbacks the Elite 11 will host. This is one of the more loaded events, and the prospect will be one of the top names at the event. All eyes will be on Juice Johnson, as they want to see how his arm strength is and how it holds up when it comes to the accuracy tests. He is a great dual threat as well, as he is likely to show out when they are on the move. Johnson could very well be the MVP of this event.

is one of the most decorated returning quarterbacks in the state of Georgia as he heads into his final high school season with big expectations and big tape to back it up. A 4-star recruit committed to Texas A&M University and consistently listed among the top QB prospects in the 2027 class, Johnson has already shown he can put up numbers and lead a loaded Lowndes offense. As a sophomore in 2024, he completed 67 % of his passes for 1,799 yards, 16 touchdowns and only three interceptions, while also rushing for 318 yards and three scores a performance that helped Lowndes to a 10-2 record and deep playoff run.
Last season as a junior, Johnson continued adding to his resume with 868 passing yards and eight touchdowns, while also showcasing his dual-threat ability on the ground with 438 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs numbers that reflect his growing command of the offense and versatility as a playmaker. Standing 6′3″ and around 210 lbs, he’s got prototypical size for the next level and the arm strength to make all the throws, and Lowndes leaned on him in big games throughout 2025 with multiple strong performances including going over 230 passing yards and multiple touchdowns in key matchups.
Now entering his senior year, Johnson’s goal is clear: elevate Lowndes back into state title contention and cement his legacy as one of the premier quarterbacks in Georgia high school football history. With his blend of experience, athleticism, and recruiting stock, he’s poised not just to post huge stats again, but to lead his team through pressure situations, rally the offense, and leave a lasting mark on a program with a tradition of excellence.

‘s season, this dude dominated for Lowndes and proved why the Texas A&M commit is one of the most explosive 2027 QBs in Georgia: Johnson’s been a true dual-threat nightmare, dropping 868 passing yards with 8 TDs and only 3 interceptions, and racking up *438 rushing yards with 10 scores on the ground this year while averaging over 7 yards a carry — that’s the kind of playmaking that flips games! He’s got size, arm strength and wheels, and every night you watch him he’s making defenses pay that’s why schools came after him, and why Gig ‘Em is coming outta Valdosta with confidence in this kid’s future.

“juice” for no reason. Johnson is a very talented athlete, who has a major arm and a great frame to be just a 2027 athlete. He has quickly become one of the better players in the nation, and that is because of his quick delivery. He has become one of the better quick game QBs in the state, and has a lot of positive traits. He is a huge reason that Lowndes has the chance to compete at the level that they have been and will be. I believe he is someone who will be valued very highly come next season, but until then Johnson will quickly be noted as a possible reason for any playoff success in the first week of the postseason.

(+) Prototype frame and elite athletic traits paint the picture of an ideal size/speed prospect in Johnson. Has the arm strength to let the ball eat and launch it around the yard and the legs to stay ahead of the chains. He isn’t easy to bring down once he gets going due to his speed and muscled-up frame. Coils the ball around his ear and gets the ball out quickly to the short areas. Taps into different gears on the ball to make different throws. Makes several backyard football plays, flipping the ball out with defenders at his feet. Operates well in chaos. (-) Developing the twitch needed to dodge and evade pressure. Will sometimes short-arm the deep ball, causing it to flutter and land short.
Power Statement: Johnson is an athletic specimen at QB with the size, speed, and arm strength to do everything on the field. Would love to see him more consistently step into his throws and let the ball eat. When he is on, the flashes are bright. Will get better as he matures and cleans up his mechanics. Booming potential. Reminds me of the QBs Tennessee has signed in recent classes.

If they give POY honors to a Junior then Johnson maybe the one. This 6’4 QB has been on the Prep Redzone radar since he entered high school and is now on every radar in the country after an impressive offseason. He recently wowed the coaches at the MVP Camp taking home Overall MVP honors. Great release point on his throws with a lot of velocity. An absolute specimen of an athlete with great instincts and high football IQ. We have him as the #1 QB in the 2027 class but this kid has the ability/skills to play anywhere you put him on the field. Potential Next Level Star.

A dynamic South Georgia quarterback with big time size, arm talent, and impressive mobility, Johnson proved last year that he’s one of the better dual-threat quarterbacks across the country in the 2027 class. As a sophomore for the Lowndes Vikings last year, Johnson threw for 1,800 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for 318 more and three scores. He’s still developing as a passer, but his overall talent is easy to see. His best football is way ahead of him and that’s a big reason why he’s the No. 1 QB and the No. 6 overall prospect in the state for his class.
