Williams impresses me with his ability to breach the pocket and punch through openings in the defensive line. I also like how Williams can juke out the defense and break tackles with his deceptive footwork, calculated movement and explosive speed on the ground.

He split carries but was very productive when on the field, finishing the year with 30 carries for 367 yards and five touchdowns in 12 games. Williams has shown the speed to get to the outside in a hurry and get up the field to break away on long runs. He has also shown the elusiveness and contact balance to make defenders miss in the open field. Caven also came away with one interception on defense this past seasons. Williams doesn’t currently hold any offers but is a player to keep an eye on as his role in the Lawrence County offense continues to increase.

In addition to excellent speed, what impresses me about Williams is his durable edge, his ability to blast into the backfield and his ability to create seperation on the run. I also like how Williams can quickly turn around to haul in the short pass and use the edge to blast into enemy territory.

Came across the film of Caven Williams Caven Williams 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB Lawrence County | 2027 State KY a week or so ago and was instantly drawn to his speed as a Running Back. A gashing runner for Lawrence County, he has some impressive wheels and has the breakaway speed that separates him from others on the field with him. While his speed is what caught my eye first, he’s not just a one-trick pony. At 5-foot-10 and 150-pounds, he’s not exactly easy to bring down either. Has a nice mix of agility and toughness and isn’t afraid to lower his shoulder if it allows him to bust a big run. Along side Wide Receiver Carlo Chicko Carlo Chicko 5'11" | 200 lbs | ATH Lawrence County | 2027 State KY and Quarterback Mitchell Frazier, the trio is tough to deal with.
