Miles committed to East Carolina University in June. On Friday night, he showed why the Pirates are sold on the linebacker. Miles is a defensive force for the Grissom Tigers and he proved his worth in the 41-6 win over Lee-Huntsville. The senior brought plenty of heat from the edge and shut down the running game with several bone-jarring hits. He finished the night with 13 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss and a QB sack. Miles will be exciting to watch in 2024.

Jordan Miles Jordan Miles 6'3" | 200 lbs | LB Grissom | 2025 State AL has been a huge factor on Grissom’s defense, and last fall was a breakout season for the sophomore. Miles contributed a lot last fall- totaling up41 total tackles (5 tackles for loss) and one sack. Miles plays with a ton of speed and intensity and it doesn’t go unnoticed- his ability to locate and hunt down the ball carrier doesn’t go unnoticed- he plays with a high level of effort all four quarters. Miles also really thrives in coverage, he does a really good job sticking with receivers over the middle of the field and can seriously lay some hits out to break up passes. Miles has picked up a lot of attention recently, he’s gotten offers from UAB and Central Michigan!

Traveling from out of state to compete at the #PRZTN Showcase, Miles had a banner day where he was one of the best linebackers at camp and took his stock to another level after impressing during testing and 1 on 1 competitions. Miles is an athletic backer with great size and a frame that can definitely take on more weight. He displayed that athleticism big time during testing then looked impressive in 1 on 1’s where he handled covering backs and tight ends with ease. This Alabama linebacker still has two years of high school ball to go, so he screams big time potential and upside and a player that is far from a finished product that is destined to reach the college level.
