About Wes
Expert Analysis
Alan Popadines | Prep Redzone Scout
A very instinctive Linebacker who wrapped up a very good middle school career for the Hewitt-Trussville Huskies. At 6-foot and 160-pounds, Hardy is a hard-nosed Linebacker/Tight End who is very good at defeating blocks at the point of contact. Also a talented Catcher on the baseball diamond.

Wes is a very physical two-way player coming out of Alabama. As a tight end, Wes blocks with incredible physicality and tenacity. Throughout his tape, he always moves his feet and relocates a defender away from where the ball is going. Another impressive aspect of Wes’s game as a tight end is his ability to get his hands on the defender and latch on to them as he moves them. Wes also seems to be the field general as a Linebacker on the defensive side of the ball, fittingly where we project him to play on the next level. He plays well in the run fits as well as dropping into coverage. Whether out in space or playing between the tackles, Wes does a great job making plays on the ball carrier and has no problem bringing his opponents to the ground. Wes has put together a solid playlist of highlights, and I am excited to watch him develop through out the rest of his career.
