We end with senior athlete Luke Vittengl Luke Vittengl 5'11" | 185 lbs | QB Baraboo | 2024 State WI . The 5’11” 185 lbs senior is the starting QB for the Thunderbirds. However, I believe he projects outside of that position where he can use his athleticism more consistently. Luke has developed a strong frame that was able to play through contact. He also showed off good elusiveness and agility in a phone booth against the swarming defense of Beaver Dam. The Baraboo offense had a rough go, but Luke was trying every way to get the offense consistently moving down the field with his legs and arm. D3 programs should definitely check him out.

This was a very tough choice. Baraboo is going to field a team with standouts at every position. They have

. Vittengl is a dual threat QB who does most of his damage with his explosive athleticism. Luke has the speed to break the game open on a signal play. He rushed for nearly 700 yards and 13 TDs in 2022. He also roamed the defensive backfield. If he can build on his numbers from 2022 Baraboo will be in a great position to chase a conference title and much more in 2023. This is a loaded roster.

Consider the 5’11” 185 lbs ’24 more of an ATH than a QB. He did a lot of his damage on the ground on offense, and he is an accomplished DB as well. On offense, Luke has next level speed that he uses to buy time or take off and run. Once he decides to run, Luke has strong ball carrier vision to find running lanes, set up blocks, and set up defenders in space. Vittengl is also elusive in tight spaces. His jump cuts and jukes make the defense miss in the hole. He is a natural palymaker with the ball in his hands. On defense, Luke is an aggressive CB/S. He plays downhill, and delivers solid hits as he runs hit feet to the ground. In zone coverage, Luke again is in position to use that speed after he reads what he sees in front of him. Luke can help in a lot of ways. Give him a look.
