C.J. Robinson C.J. Robinson 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB/DB University Prep | 2025 State NY brother of Caron listed above started his career at Aquinas and was a dominant prospect for University Prep this season and had multiple 200+ yard games. Robinson’s best skillset is is vision and instincts as a runner. Robinson can make guys miss in open space with good lateral quickness and jump cuts. Overall Robinson is a smooth athlete who showcases the ability to create big plays offensively. Also a two-way player Robinson shows the athleticism and instincts to potentially be a defensive player at the next level as well.

This is the breakaway upcoming junior running back that simply broke away from defenses time and time again this past season for Aquinas Institute. C.J. Robinson C.J. Robinson 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB/DB University Prep | 2025 State NY stands in at 5’11” and weighs 170-pounds at the running back position. Even with those measurable in mind, it is his speed that really separates him on the football field. The ability to cut into and out from holes, even to the point where he could bounce a run to the outside D-gaps was impressive to see. Having a back with outstanding field vision allows for special runs in the open field, as seen here with Robinson. Once C.J. was able to get to the second level of the defense, the defenders had a really tough time trying to catch Robinson to bring him to the ground.

Having great contact balance, the ability to accelerate quickly, and the powerful top end speed were the separating factors for some of Robinson’s biggest house calls. Even in the receiving game, C.J. was a factor. Countless times, C.J. was able to run effective RB screens by selling the act of blocking, slipping out to catch the ball, and then having the patience to allow his blocks to develop for a big-time gain.

College football teams are always looking for running backs that have a high level of intelligence and surely this is one of those types of running backs here with Robinson. For this upcoming season, Robinson wants to rush for 1,500 yards, receive for 500 yards, break the single game rushing record at Aquinas, win a sectional title, and to finally receive his first D1 offer from a school to allow himself to play the game he loves for the foreseeable future.

In what was a down year for a usual Section V powerhouse in Aquinas football there was a few bright spots, the main one being Running Back C.J. Robinson C.J. Robinson 5'11" | 180 lbs | RB/DB University Prep | 2025 State NY . Robinson only had 11 carries his freshman season but showed promise. This season Robinson completely took over the backfield and had 199 carries, 1442 yards, 15TDs. Robinson is a really good athlete with a lean frame. Robinson knows how to beat defenders in space and is really good at using his eyes to find the best path past the line of scrimmage. Robinson shows really solid patience around the LOS which is impressive for a young back. Robinson proved he can carry the game on the ground for Aquinas but colleges likely will want to see some more involvement in the passing game or as a pass blocker from the backfield.
