Oakland didn’t make things easy for Chance and the Raptors offense but this senior quarterback still had his moments and showed why Navy is excited about his future as a Midshipman. Chance was the one guy that caused a few issues for the Patriots defense as his athleticism and speed kept drives alive for his Raptors offense. He finished the night scoring two rushing touchdowns while producing over a 100 yards rushing but it still wasn’t close enough to keep up with Oakland. What it showed me though is that Chance is legit and someone to watch for during his time at Navy as a potential high producing starting quarterback with the Midshipmen.

Establishing himself offensively was Maverick Chance Maverick Chance 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB/RB Ravenwood | 2026 State TN , a quarterback at Ravenwood High School. Chance was the top playmaker for the Raptors, finding his way into the endzone for two touchdowns. Chance made a big difference with his ability to withstand contact on the ground and fight for those extra yards in crucial moments.

Even though Chance only produced one touchdown on the night, his running proved to be a big difference maker in the Raptors seven point win over CPA. Splitting duties behind center with Babalola, every time Chance entered the game, he brought some juice with him that seemed to bring the Raptors alive. His athleticism and speed with the ball in his hands was tough for the Lions defenders to handle. Chance also made several clutch passes, including a deep ball in the first half that eventually produced a touchdown. The more I scout Chance, the more I see potential at quarterback in college but also someone that could develop nicely at running back or even slot receiver.

Claiming the number three spot on my list is Maverick Chance Maverick Chance 6'0" | 210 lbs | QB/RB Ravenwood | 2026 State TN , a quarterback at Ravenwood High School. Chance was extremely impactful at the helm of the Raptors’ offense, proving his ability to run the ball into enemy territory himself. Chance also caught my attention with his ability to scan the backfield and toss the deep pass.
