A hard-hitting cornerback who can also make plays in coverage down the field, Hicks is a really good athlete who plays hard and knows how to wrap up. He’s a sure-tackling defensive back who plays fast and consistently finds his way to the ball-carrier. He’s dependable in coverage but his ability to step up and make a strong tackle really stood out last season. Hicks made 35 tackles and one INT while breaking up several more passes. He’s now ranked in the latest update as the No. 61 defensive back prospect in the state for the 2026 class.

He brings a lean frame, burst, and the ability to make plays in coverage while proving to be a strong defender against the run. As a junior last fall, this fast-rising defensive back made 39 tackles, three TFLs, one INT and four more pass-breakups.
