Perkins is a tall, cut 6’3 190 and a true distributor from the pocket. He is athletic enough to keep plays alive and maneuver around the pocket, but he is best as a true drop-back passer. He has a longer delivery and steps into his throws to muscle the ball around the yard. Proves capable of booming the ball behind safeties and puts it on receivers in the short areas. Perkins will get better as his mechanics tighten, so he would offer a small school a bigger QB prospect with some developmental upside.
