might be best labeled as an ATH. He plays a bit of a LB/box safety hybrid role for Tomah HS and has been an impact payer doing it. Bruce is aggressive and quick to trigger downhill to fill against the run. He has the burst to get to and through gaps with a head of steam that OL can’t cut off. He also has the range to be able to run sideline to sideline and chase down ball carriers that get outside contain. The junior is a sound tackler on top of the athleticism too. Bruce does a great job of moving through the front seven and avoiding blocks while also closing on the football. Rezin is a versatile athlete that is going to be on the rise this summer.

We end with an up and coming LB prospect from WI. The Tomah junior checked in at 6′ 190 lbs. He also proved to have the athleticism of a next level prospect. Bruce broad jumped 9’3″ and ran a 4.90 40 yard dash. The ’25 LB has already piled up varsity experience as a sophomore. He lined up primarily at OLB. There, Bruce was able to use a strong firs step and lateral agility to get into the backfield and make tackles. I’m excited to see his junior season play out. He has made noticeable improvements over the past year. Get him on your radars.

One of the best performers of the day was the Tomah sophomore LB. He measured in at just over 5’11” 190 lbs. While not the biggest prospect, the sophomore shined with his athleticism. He is another prospect who made a noticeably large jump since our last Showcase. He ran a 4.90 40, a blazing 4.35 shuttle time, and broad jumped 9’4″. No question, Bruce is an athletic LB prospect that is an impact player out in space. Rezin further proved it with his performance in the one on one battles. The rangy LB was able to quickly react, break, and run deep with the RBs in attendance. He played the ball well too. Timing his swats and jumping of the routes well. As he becomes an upperclassman this fall I expect to see some big games from him.

. The 5’11” 180 lbs LB demonstrated some solid body control that allowed him to look smooth through the different testing and drill work. Rezin plays OLB for Tomah. I liked Bruce heading into this season, so I wanted to take a look at this season to see if that same body control would show up in action.
The sophomore started six of the eight games he played in and piled up 50 tackles during that time. Bruce played some off the ball OLB, but mainly lined up on the edge. That same body control definitely shows up because Rezin looked his best when he was on the edge one on one with ball carriers. Instead of being juked you see a lot of examples of his lateral agility keeping him in front of the ball carrier for the tackle. With two years to go for Bruce, I’m looking forward to watching his frame and game develop. Solid day at the Showcase launches his offseason.
