He can pick off passes in coverage, sack the quarterback from the cornerback position, make a big hit on the ball-carrier, and make an impact on special teams. A true weapon no matter where he’s lined up, Caldwell showed last season where he’s one of the state’s top defensive back prospects. He ended his junior season with 38 tackles, two sacks, one INT returned for a touchdown, and two forced fumbles. He also ran for over 260 yards and six touchdowns while returning one kick back for a score.
