Expert Analysis
Kelly Christian | Prep Redzone Scout
Mullins was a reliable target and weapon for his quarterbacks throughout the 2 days. The majority of his touches were out of the backfield, simulating his natural role within a real game. However, he proved that he is more than just a checkdown or an outlet within a progression. He has the capability to run a diverse route tree out of the backfield, catching a multitude of passes on the second level. His speed and acceleration out of his breaks make him a mismatch for most linebackers.

While he’s still flying under the radar, Mullins, one of the more productive running backs across the state last season, is finally getting some much-deserved recognition. After running through defenses throughout the 2025 season, taking off for 1,310 yards and 12 touchdowns, Mullins saw two recent offers come his way from Troy and App State. Still, that’s not nearly enough. The Gwinnett County back was a tackle-breaking machine last season as a junior and should be even better as a senior in 2027. He’s one of the top returning backs in the region and should likely see more offers come his way this spring and summer.
