Last week, McKinney Boyd took on cross town rival McKinney. Turner recorded 9 tackles, 5 solo tackles, and allowed zero competitions on his side of the field. His speed allows him to provide great run support on the outside. A truly physical defensive back that has no issues shedding blocks and making the stop. On one play, you can see his high awareness on display, where he is left alone on the outside, he does a great job at staying home and reading the play allowing him to make the tackle. In the second district game, Turner earned Player of the Week which was well deserved. The first half of his season has not disappointed. I think we can expect his recruitment to take off in the very near future.
