is a starting quarterback for Perrysburg High School. Maxwell flashes a quick release and a strong arm, but his real value comes from being a dual-threat who can make plays with his legs. Maxwell can quickly get upfield and be a threat as a runner which college football offenses need. As a passer, he can fit the ball into tight windows and flashes a very accurate arm. Maxwell had 2,562 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns this fall.

Maxwell is a talented quarterback who I expect to blow up on the FBS and P4 recruiting scenes this year. Because of talented upper classmen at his position Maxwell has had to wait his turn as the starting signal caller for the Yellow Jackets. That time is now. Maxwell is everything you want in a quarterback. He can make all of the throws from in the pocket or on the run. You see high level throws splattered all over his film. To go with that arm talent, he’s a big-time threat to hurt you with his legs. Whether it be on designed run plays like quarterback draws or tucking it when things break down in the pocket or on the boundary, he has the speed an elusiveness to take it to the house. He plays with a calm and cool disposition that you want from your offensive leader. I’d be very surprised if Brady doesn’t come out of this season with a whole lot of interest if not some FBS offers.

Maxwell has a cannon for an arm and flashed it in the Week 1 opener against Bowling Green. He is also a great dual-threat who can make plays with his legs. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound gunslinger had five touchdowns – three rushing, two passing – in just one half of play. He holds no offers.

Maxwell will be someone to look out for in 2025. He played very few snaps at quarterback for Perrysburg’s varsity team this season, but he’ll be next in line for the starting job. He’s a three-sport athlete who excels in basketball and baseball. Brady will profile as a true dual-threat quarterback. His arm is good and can be a weapon to push the offense downfield. He can be patient with the ball and typically shows off sound post-snap processing. He works well in the quarterback-designed run game as he has good vision and decision-making while running with the ball. Brady can make a name for himself in our state this upcoming season.
