is the leader of this talented Bulldog offense. He has been electric with his big play ability all year throwing the football. Boe has been putting up big numbers in 2023 with 2118 yards and 21 touchdowns, he’s done a good job distributing the ball to his playmakers. Last week he threw 3 touchdowns leading his team to a win over Lincoln-Way Central. I look for the NDSU commit to have a big game this week.

The North Dakota State commit has been the main reason for Batavia’s offensive success this season. Boe, a senior, has been getting it done with both his arm and his legs. The dual threat playmaker possesses a strong arm, the ability to diagnose cover, accuracy, and athleticism. He makes opposing defenses play true 11 man football, as the QB needs to be accounted for on every single play, whether it’s a pass or a run. Look for Boe to bring his A game against a talented Geneva defense on Friday.

Mr. Boe finished the night 16/31 for 148 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. His stats don’t tell the full picture of his skill set and what this young man can do. He can make level 1 throws outside the numbers, make throws in tight coverage adding extra velocity on the ball, and keeps his eyes downfield when working on the move to keep the chains moving. What stands out the most is his ability to zip the ball between multiple defenders as he did this on more than one occasion to convert on scoring drives for his team. It’s not that often that you see young gunslingers confident and poised enough to to zip balls in such tight coverage. Not to mention he flashes his ability to navigate the pocket making rushing defenders miss initially giving him time to find his man downfield. It’s crazy to think that this young man has no offers given his skill set. Get eyes on him now.

Mr. Boe can use his three-step drop to get the ball out quickly in the short game to stay ahead of the sticks at times. If the pocket collapses, he flashes his ability to extend plays by keeping his eyes downfield as he’s working on the move. When doing so, he’s able to find his man downfield to keep the chains moving. If there’s nobody open downfield, he does have the ability to pull the ball down to scramble to come away with net positive yards on the play. Check out the clip below of him standing strong in the pocket finding his man for a big completion downfield. Twitter
