St. Bonaventure held on in the fourth quarter to beat Bishop Diego 21-20 last week.
Thompson had another big game as expected for the Seraphs with 161 yards on 16 carries with two touchdowns.
He has the second most rushing yards in the state and the most in the Southern Section.

Thompson is one of the top running backs in the state and he proved it in a close win over Pacifica of Oxnard.
St. Bonaventure needed every bit of Thompson’s production to beat the young but talented Pacifica squad.
Thompson ran for an insane 369 yards on 33 carries and scored six of the team’s seven touchdowns.
It was a career-high in carries, yards and touchdowns for Thompson. He shockingly has zero offers yet but I expect that to change later this fall.
