Walker is a DB that’s been on the PRZ NV radar since his freshman season and made his biggest leap in the rankings in this latest update. He’s shown elite upside this offseason with his high-level combination of speed, footwork and ball skills in coverage. It’s likely only a matter of time before he picks up his first D-I with the physical tools and coverage skillset he brings to the table. Expect Walker to continue to put his name on the Nevada radar with a productive junior season.

At the 2025 Recruit Vegas Showcase and Combine, Walker literally flew on the scene with a scorching 4.5 40 yard dash. Walker’s speed serves him well at CB. He has insane closing speed and is quick to pull the trigger on any short screens or passes. Walker is talented at tracking the ball and making a play on it. With his speed and ball skills, is offense in his future? Walker represented the class of 2027 well on Saturday.

Walker is an elite DB whose season was cut short last year due to injury. Walker has D1 athleticism that allows him to come across the field and make a play on the football and has the acceleration to guard any WR in Valley. Now at Bonanza HS look for Walker to have double digit interceptions in his sophomore campaign.

Walker showed flashes of natural athleticism and DB skill as a perimeter CB for the 2A state champions this seaosn. He’s a fluid mover that can effortlessly switch gears in his backpedal and does a good job of sinking the hips and generating explosive drive out of his breaks. He’s a willing tackler that goes low and isn’t afraid to stick his nose into contact. Walker’s a CB to keep an eye on as he continues to grow and develop.

When patrolling the secondary with a two-high look, it’s helpful to have somebody you trust back there with you. That’s what the Vegas 14U All-Star team had going for them with the combination of Perkins and Armani Walker. The pair seem to be best friends on and off the field, which helped in communication and understanding of what the other was going to do. The duo played on the same regular season team and both stood out to me at AYF Nationals. While I’ll give Perkins the nod in ability to stop the ball, I love the way Walker comes screaming up in run defense. He will not think twice about taking out someone’s knees if it means making a big stop. By no means is he a dirty player, but he’ll remind a ball carrier or receiver to remember to keep their head on a swivel.
