Player rankings are based on a variety of factors that include their on-field performance and recruiting stock. Below is a quick glimpse at a few of the changes made in the 2023 rankings, beginning with the top-three players.

Capra finished with 2,464 passing yards, 33 touchdowns, 710 rushing yards, and eight rushing touchdowns as the starter for Denver South. Kubat finished the year with Fossil Ridge as the state’s fourth-leading passer in yards with 3,116 and 27 touchdowns.
