In the 55-7 win over Catalina Foothills he took just 15 carries for 166 yards and 4 touchdowns to average over 11 yards per touch all in the first half. So far this season, he's got just 10 receptions for 322 yards and 4 touchdowns demonstrating his big play ability every time he touches the ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1331348' first='Christian' last='Garcia'], 2027, RB, Marcos De Niza – </strong>5A's leading rusher near the midway point of the season with 973 yards and 9 touchdowns through 4 games. In the 18-6 win over Poston Butte, he took 32 carries for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns. On pace to break to the 2,000 yard mark if he continues on the same trajectory.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Buckeye Running Backs – </strong>Buckeye RB's [player_tooltip player_id='2202003' first='Mekhi' last='Sharper'] (2028) and Xylin Yancy (2027) both had massive stat lines with minimal work in the blowout win over Westview. Sharper took 6 carries for 136 yards and 3 touchdowns while Yancy handled just 8 carries for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Bryson Sinsheimer, 2030 QB, Paradise Honors – </strong>The freshman has been solid leading Paradise Honors to a 3-1 record to start the year. In the 63-0 win over Mingus, he was able to find running lanes all night totaling 205 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 10 carries.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
