Offensive Standouts: Hunt-South Garner

On Monday, I highlighted several standout defenders from the Hunt-South Garner thriller I attended on Friday night. Given the high-scoring nature of the game, the offenses obviously had their fair share of wins. Here, I'm looking at some standout players on that side of the ball.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Hunt-South Garner Top Offensive Players</h2>   Editor's Note: Check out our breakdown of the <a href="https://prepredzone.com/2026/09/hunt-34-south-garner-33-defensive-standouts/">top defenders in South Garner-Hunt</a>   <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Talented Skill Players</h3>    Despite what turned out to be his least explosive game of the young season, I came away impressed with how Ross worked underneath. He's quick out of his breaks and caught everything with his hands away from his body. He's at his best with the ball in the air and excels at "late hands," creating separation at the last minute. He didn't have many big plays down the field, but was key on several third-down receptions.     Hedgebeth is a smaller back, but he's shifty, and I was impressed with his ability to sneak through smaller holes. He'll get skinny and slide through, always moving forward. He also flashed some breakaway speed on a few carries and the ability to bounce outside toward the open field even after clearing the line of scrimmage and avoiding the initial hit.     Briggs was much bigger than I'd anticipated, and it was really fun to watch one of the youngest guys on the field play the power back role. He got a few key carries in short-yardage situations, and it's obvious that the South Garner staff trusts him. He bullied his way in for a touchdown late in the second half, showing good vision and power in the process.     McCray had a breakout game of sorts Friday, catching the game-winning touchdown when he won off the line on a slant route into the end zone. He showed good hands, and a solid rapport with his quarterback. If Hunt wants to continue to march on and ultimately win a title, McCray and the passing game will be key.     While it wasn't his best statistical day, I was impressed with how the ball jumps out of Shoulars' hands. The tall senior has all the physical tools colleges are looking for. I was impressed with the way he used his legs to create time. Shoulars' mobility is a true weapon and he had the Hunt defense occasionally tackling air on Friday.     Dublin is filling in admirably for an 1,800-yard rusher last year. He's not the biggest guy, but he represents a home run threat if he has space. He can get to the outside, but I rarely saw him moake poor reads from there. Instead, he sticks his foot in the ground and explodes upfield.    <h3 class="wp-block-heading">Impressive Linemen</h3>    I came in expecting the South Garner front to give the Warriors issues on the interior. Given the size of the interior linemen for the Titans, I'm not sure you could ask much more of the job Hall and the interior offensive line did for the Warriors. He consistently opened holes for the backs and finished blocks down the field.     As a whole, the Hunt offensive line isn't the longest, but Bridgers has some nice size and length at right tackle. I liked his effort throughout, and he showed some surprising athleticism to get to the second level and make some blocks in the open field.     Conyers is one of my favorite big guys in the state. He has a relentless motor, especially for a guy his size, and he plays both ways at the 7A level. It wasn't his biggest game as a defender, but he locked down one half of a typically dominant defensive line. In fact, I had to intentionally make sure one of Hunt's best defenders wasn't hurt because I didn't see him make many plays against Conyers.    Which games need to be on our radar in Week 5?
