Which ’27 Central Ohio Offensive Players Stepped Up In Week 3?

Week 3 of high school football season in Ohio is in the books, and so many prospects are standing out on tape, including some seniors who are looking to get one last chance to play on the gridiron, and hopefully land a college offer or two. Here are some early standouts in the senior class in central Ohio on offense who stood out this week.    [player_tooltip player_id='2182890' first='Charles' last='Pizzotti'] is a big, tall, strong 6-foot-3, 195-pound receiver who looks the part. He is a big threat in the passing game with surprising breakaway speed for his size. Pizzotti can really fly down the sideline if he gets in space or finds green grass. Snatches the ball with his hands, solid route runner, great adjustment high-low. Holds an early offer from Cornell. Very under-the-radar Class of 2027 prospect for Columbus Academy. Through the first three weeks, he has 270 receiving yards and three touchdowns with 395 all-purpose yards.     Buckeye Valley High School offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1706278' first='Miles' last='Hall'] has put on some great senior tape. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman has a good first step, fires forward off the ball and creates vertical push at the line of scrimmage. He is very good at blocking at the second level, showing ability to punch, stay open for more defenders and take them for a ride. Solid in pass pro with mirror off the edge. Good hand placement to sustain blocks. Hall has also played defense as an interior DT, but OT strikes me as his college fit.     Class of 2027 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='2224113' first='Noah' last='Dumas'] had a breakout game in Week 3 for Pickerington North. He displays good speed after the catch, making defenders miss after contact and staying on his feet. Dumas is a proven kick returner who flashes good change-of-direction and being a home-run threat. He had 190 all-purpose yards on offense and special teams, scoring one touchdown in week 3.     [player_tooltip player_id='1953975' first='JP' last='Butler'] is a talented class of 2027 receiver and kick returner from Gahanna Lincoln. The 5-foot-9, 160-pound prospect flashes good hands over the middle of the field. He can be a slippery route runner who can get open over the middle of the field, get behind second-level linebackers and be sneaky after the catch. In the return game, he displays good vision, patience and ability to follow blocks. In an overtime win against Liberty, he had four catches for 50 yards and 26 yards in the return game.
