About Landon

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strengths are my communication and motor. I’m constantly communicating with my teammates, calling out offensive plays and formations, making sure we’re in the right coverage, and getting everyone lined up correctly. I also play loose and with a high motor. Even if I’m not the one making the tackle, I’m always working toward the ball and trying to make an impact on every play.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m currently working on improving my speed and drive through contact. I want to be fast enough to be involved in every play and never let my speed take me out of a tackle. I’m also working on driving through contact and finishing every tackle with physicality and purpose.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a program where I can continue to develop as a football player and become the best version of myself on and off the field. I want to be around coaches and teammates who push me to improve every day and help me grow as a person and a leader. Academically, I’m looking for a school that will give me a strong education and prepare me for life after football.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I’m a hardworking person who understands the importance of rest and recovery, but I’m always looking for ways to improve. Every day, I work out, run, or do football-specific drills to become the best player I can be. I’m not afraid of making sacrifices or putting in the work required to reach my goals. My mentality is that I never want to be outworked, and I can do anything I set my mind to.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

want to pursue a degree in Business Management because I enjoy talking to people, building relationships, and persuading others. After football, I’m interested in a career in medical sales, where I can use those skills while also making a positive impact. I like the idea of selling medical equipment that can help doctors and patients and potentially make a difference in someone’s life.
