Summer Spotlight: Ohio Defensive Prospects With Big Potential

On the contrary, we are hard at work. All throughout the summer, we'll be taking a look at some top returning starters and young prospects who will make a big impact as the season rolls around this fall, spotlighting several prospects. The Class of 2027 defensive tackle has excellent height and size for the position. Scheetz is an effective run plugger from his spot at defensive tackle, occupying multiple blockers and freeing up other defensive players to clean up the play. The 6-foot-1, 260-pound prospect flashes a quick first step and a nose for the ball. Brown comes off the LOS with good pad level and leverage, frequently knocking back opposing offensive linemen and reaching ballcarriers. Brown is a good open-field tackler in space. He is very instinctive, takes great angles to the ball and possesses great read-and-reaction time. Rogers is a great open-field tackler, and the Class of 2027 prospect has plenty of upside. Ifakorede is a quick pass rusher who can shoot through gaps, takes great angles to the quarterback and wraps up on contact. Ifakorede is very explosive and fast.
