2027 Updated Rankings: Biggest Risers Part 2

He was a standout performer at the National Preps Showcase in May and has continued to catch coaches eyes through out the summer camp season. Griffin is a safety that can play in the box and in coverage. He has an excellent football IQ and great instincts on when to go make a play on the ball. When attacking the ball in the air he plays with strong hands, able to make difficult aggressive interceptions. Griffin is smooth in his pack pedal and transitions, stays in phase with fluid feet/hips.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Overall Griffin is a solid athlete with outstanding awareness and playmaking ability from the SS spot. Moving up over 150 spots into the top 150 and top 30 of all OL prospects. A player I really liked coming into last season after coming off an injured sophomore year, Jacob looks to have developed into the player I thought he could be. With nice size and a good thick body frame, Jacob has great upper body strength while also keeping a good base with bend. Jacob is a mauler and war daddy IOL. Playing with intensity, power and nasty to him. He finishes blocks and puts defenders in the dirt. Jacob also shows nimble feet as well. He moves well laterally, can re-set his feet and get up to the second level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Picking up his first offer from Furman recently, Jacob is set to have a eye opening senior year and show that he can be a top OL in the MIAA. A transfer from DuVal HS (MD), Jordan looks to be a key impact player for Mt. Zion Prep this fall. A tall, long, rangy athlete, who can be a playmaker at WR or S. He will go up and attack the ball in the air and can cover ground with his long stride. At WR he's a big X down field threat who can stretch the field and make big catches. Moving over 75 spots up to a roughly top 100 player at 106 and the #15 overall DB. A physical and versatile DB, able to play press or off coverage. Best as a boundary or nickel CB where he can use his aggressiveness and good instincts to make plays on the ball. While also being a plus defenders in run support and a strong tackler who does not shy away from throwing his body into the play. Aaron shows snappy hips and is quick to trigger on the play. He made an almost 150 spot jump moving up to being a top 120 prospect in the area and a top 15 ATH. MJ had a very strong spring/summer season and I got to witness that live at the National Preps Showcase in May where he was a top performer. Running a verified 4.57 laser 40, MJ has breakaway playmaking speed and it translates on the field. A threat to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball. MJ offers plenty of versatility as a prospect, making plays as a WR, RB and DB. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Currently holding an FCS offer from Stonehill, MJ is on a lot of other schools boards and should see more offers coming his way.
