Beau quickly paints a downhill attacker of a middle linebacker that is more rangy withis his steps than you might expect out of the 5'11 195 pounder. Not only does the 6'3 180 pound frame stick out, but when I rolled into his tape I really liked the production you see out of Ely after the catch as one that has the notable long strides to progress downfield and might take a couple tacklers to bring him down. The 6'1 260 pounder boosts solid pad-level and is a quick driver of leverage into the second level on a persistent basis. He's also got more fire in this first step than you might think as there's a lot of fluid movement that winds thru his feet quickly. The 6'0 260 pounder center is pretty well-rounded on tape from my eyes, as he's a sound finisher with well-versed pad-level and also shows the pull ability to get the run game downhill into the second level. He's also got position flexibility in the interior for college coaches to decide where his best fit is, which to me it's a tough call to see where I like Matthew most as far as the next-level.
