Augustana Prospect Camp: Nebraska and Iowa Standouts

For a prospect that I coudln't find tape on, Nolan impressed me in the live eval. His ability to drive his hands and get off with a more sudden accelerator than I was expecting to see was intriguing to watch thru a few of his reps at the Augustana Prospect Camp. This young man showed off a relentless motor from the jump and watching his reps live, you would be really intrigued by how Teyton could finish with his hands. He showed off the agile hands you want to see with his get off as well, as Teyton could be describe as wirey thru the point of attack especially with his inside move. The first look I got of Parker showed off a 2028 prospect that peaked with excellent athleticism for his age, as the 4-sport athlete showed off a lot of natural athletic traits. That alone was the live eval I got in the testing session at Augustana, as the later we got into camp you could see the smooth translation especially getting to watch Parker's hands during the reps I caught, as again the word "natural" came to my notebook to describe his hands. This young man was extremely overpowering against the group with dominant hands and excellent physicality that surely could wreck some havoc with the use of his wrestling background. He caught my attention early with how fluid his foot speed was during the reps I watched during Indy and was one that during the testing period, ran the 40-yard dash with some good finish for a 6'0 260 pounder. From a couple of the reps I watched from Sawyer at the guard position, he again showed off the persistent with a sound first step that triggered solid power generation you want at the point of attack. I've mentioned a couple times now how much I loved the physicality of this defensive back group, and Grant was front and center to why I gave them that nod. From the jump of his 1v1 reps, Grant was constantly rattling wide receivers early on their routes while also showing off excellent ball-tracking ability when he got them off balance. He was one of the best quarterbacks I saw in attendance that showed off a quick release and could thread his throws on all three levels into some tight quarters as well. He was one that was soundly quick adjusting his reads and hitting with precision on the few throws I was able to watch in the quarterback group. Surely a 2027 quarterback out of Lincoln that I expect his stock to continue to grow over the coming month on the camp trail.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
