Spring Watchlist: NEW Talented Players on Our Radar

Welcome back!   We hope you're having a good start to the week! Today, we're going to watch some talented new players who have recently landed on our Spring Watchlist!   As always, make sure you take a look at some of their film below. You'll be impressed!    [player_tooltip player_id='2223287' first='Theron' last='Miles'] is a talented TE from Scottsboro who's somehow flown under our radar up to this point.   "At 6'5 215, Miles is an incredibly reliable safety outlet to his QB almost every passing down. He's athletic, can block, and has a great set of hands he uses to haul in passes all over the field.   I'm super impressed with how Miles can move at his size. He's fast and elusive with the ball in his hands and can gain great separation off of his routes downfield. He's a natural playmaker in the passing game who can completely dominate smaller DBs in coverage- there's a ton to like with his game."   Miles made news recently when he committed to South Alabama, giving them a talented in-state playmaker in their 2027 class.   I really don't know how I hadn't watched Miles until recently, but man, I am looking forward to his senior season this fall. Take one look below and you'll see why:      [player_tooltip player_id='2223291' first='Tristan' last='Roberts'] is a talented OL from Blount who's heading into a big senior season this upcoming fall.   "Roberts is a really athletic OT who can dominate both as a run blocker and in pass protection. He's really quick at his size and can make some impressive blocks on the move, working from level to level to clear up space for his teammates at the line of scrimmage and beyond.   Roberts impresses me the most with his skill in pass protection. He's quick to react and can counter pass rushers with his speed, hands, and power to provide plenty of time for his quarterback. He's constantly winning at the line and pancaking his matchups- it's a blast to watch"   Roberts can do a ton of impressive things up front and is coming off his best season yet this past fall. There's a ton to like with his game, you can easily see it in his film below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2223293' first='Kali' last='Boatman'] is a talented nickel from Hoover who found a lot of success in his sophomore campaign last fall.   "Boatman is a hybrid nickel/S who flies around the field to provide great coverage and run support to Hoover's defense. He's quick and recognizes plays right after the snap, leading to some impressive pass breakups and run stops all over the field.   Boatman has impressive timing and speed out in coverage, he never gets beat over the top, is quick to react to opposing pass catchers, and has the ball skills and hands to pick off and break up passes with ease. When you combine that with his effort defending the run, it makes him an every down threat to opposing offenses."   Boatman has the chance to have a real breakout season in Hoover's secondary this upcoming season. Make sure you check out some of his tape below, I think he's due for a big year.      [player_tooltip player_id='2223300' first='Cayden' last='Farris'] is a talented ATH from Clay-Chalkville who made some impressive plays this past season.   "Farris is a really athletic pass catcher who dominates opposing secondaries with his speed, acceleration, and vision. Farris can burn defenses vertically with his speed and is an explosive playmaker after the catch who can evade and carve up defenses for huge gains every time he gets the ball in his hands.   Farris brings a ton of value to Clay's special teams unit as a returner. He has excellent field vision and speed he uses to find the best lane and put the ball in great starting field position each return. There's a ton to like with Farris' game- I'm really excited for his senior season this fall."   There's a lot to look forward to with Farris in 2026. He's building off a promising junior year last fall where he showed he could contribute to a state title winning team. Take a look below:      [player_tooltip player_id='2223302' first='Tobias' last='Johnson'] is a talented DL/EDGE from Escambia Academy who could end up having a huge senior season.   "Johnson is a relentless pass rusher who dominates matchups with his speed, leverage, and power. Johnson completely knocks OL on their heels right as the ball is snapped, using his leverage, violent hands, and power to drive back OL and get to the quarterback.   I'm most impressed with Johnson's effort and closing speed. He never takes a snap off and is always making hustle plays in pursuit. No one's ever out of his reach, he plays through the whistle every snap and provides a ton of production up front through all four quarters."   Johnson has the size, skills, and potential to dominate the line of scrimmage in 2026. We're all going to have to look out, in the meantime, be sure to watch some of his junior tape below:
