We've been on a tear in Nebraska these last few days with scouting reports from all over the state as we close out the month of May before the full go of camp season starts. Which reminds me, there's a handful of 2028 tight ends on this list that should be on next-level radars sooner rather than later especially our TE2 and TE1 in the 2028 class.

Quade is a 2028 tight end from our watchlist that surely could see himself moving up to our 2028 rankings real soon based on what's on tape for this young man. He's got great seperation ability, but what takes off even more for Quade is how sudden is he is for his 6'4 190 pound size in the open field as he looks more like a WR with that noted burst.. He shows upside that he can utilze that length to reach for ball in high traffic areas that could be out of reach for other TEs. Surely like my collegue Oscar Gallindo stated, this young man has great upside that has room to continue to get untapped.

The 6'3 190 pounder out of York is one that I feel is position flexible when it comes to the next-level. He shows great flashes at the linebacker position, but what we see out of tight end position might be higher from an upside perspective. He shows off length you want to see with his vertical and is one that is a fluid route-runner for his size. Max is a high motored athlete on both sides of the ball that with a wrestling background is also why I could see a projection at linebacker at the next-level.

Riley quickly shows off what looks like a well-rounded tight end with the ideal size college coaches are looking for at the tight end position. The 6'4 220 pounder out of Omaha Westside, is a mauler when it comes to his run-blocking ability, as Riley shows off great pad-level and pummeling physicality at the point of attack. He boosts a fluid quick release off the snap and is one that has sure hands persistently over the middle of the field. This young man is a 2028 tight end I would get on the radar early out of this class if I were a scholarship-level school at the next-level. One of the most well-rounded TEs in the state.

Last but not least, we feature our TE1 in Nebraska's 2028 class which is Lincoln Standing Bear's [player_tooltip player_id='1573580' first='Paul' last='Hart']. The 6'4 215 pounder has really efficent hands on and off the ball and shows you on all three levels with quick and fluid he can get off blockers. Another tight end that's efficent over the middle of the field as a pass-catcher as you can tell this TE group in Nebraska's 2028 class is deep, as we have two prospects in our top 10 at the position. Surefire hands that catches everything within his grasp whether the throws are on line or not, Paul's got the three-level proficency as a route-runner. Surely another one this time out of Lincoln, that shoudl get on college boards early.
