One of a couple tight ends that caught my attention at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase made the long drive from Thompson, ND was [player_tooltip player_id='1918034' first='Bryn' last='Adams']. He showed off ideal next-level measurables at the tight end position and surely is one that a college weight room can add some frame to based on what I got off the early eye test. One of the better blocking tight ends North Dakota has to offer in the 2027 class the upside is there for the taking for Bryn as a pass-catcher, as the reps we got to watch on Saturday showed off a fluid route-runner that has good hands for short and interemdiate routes especially around the first down markers. Playing with NDSU TE commit Cash Danner at Thompson, Bryn has a great opportunity to be a senior steal in my eyes as a pass-catcher and can continue to progress his skillsets as a pass-catcher getting to plenty of college camps this summer to get ahead of what college coaches will see more of in his senior season for the Tommies.

Camden is one that I felt rose his stock at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase based on the athletic traits he showed off. The 6'2 175 pounder, jumped an explosive 9'5 broad jump which was #4 overall at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase and was in the top two amongst the wide receiver group. In the live reps I was able to watch, Camden showed off long arms that could stetch for balls that might be slightly out of reach for other wide receivers. Camden finished as one of our five top wide receivers throughout the day, and one that I feel with his position flexibility has excellent upside at the wide receiver position when it comes to seeing where his fit is positionally on Saturdays.

Kade came in as our ATH1 in the 2027 South Dakota class and I felt his live eval did him the justice as to why we he's the best athlete in the state. Obviously playing on both sides of the ball, Kade has the instinctive nature but the translation I saw last Saturday in Sioux Falls, surely sees the fit for him at the wide receiver position with his great length he can bring to the wide receiver room. The 6'1 203 pounder showed off a 75.5' wingspan and Kade also tested really well for his size finishing in the top 14 or better in every testing category. He jumped an 8'10 broad jump (14th), 4.93 in the 40-yard dash (13th) and his best numbers came with the change of direction in testing, 7.28 in the L-drill (7th) and pro agility he ran a 4.5 good for 6th overall at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase. With a couple offers under his belt at the D2 level already, there's no doubt that there's more attention coming his way as we hit the throttle into camp season.

If there was a 2028 athlete from South Dakota that I thought rose his stock the absoulute most at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase last Saturday, it was the overall performance of Canton's [player_tooltip player_id='2149756' first='Ryder' last='Thompson']. In testing, he rocked the boat with not one, but two areas as #1 overall at our Sioux Falls showcase. He went 4.25 in the pro agility and 9'9 in the broad at a verified 6'3 170 pounds taking our Goat award for one of the best testers in attendance. What I liked most about Ryder during the live eval outside of testing, is the route efficency he had at his disposal He focused on the surefire routes that he knew he could get seperation on as one that I thought he ran one of the most productive route-trees in attendance amongst the wide receiver gorup. He also was one of the more aggressive receivers with his hand work on his routes, but yet having that consistent balance of not pushing the limit just focusing on where he could get his seperation. From everyting I saw from Ryder, my gut tells me he might turn into an early offer out of this 2028 South Dakota that could strike early even this summer at camps.

Darius is probably one of my favorite last second sign ups we have ever had at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase throughout the years. The 5'11 165 pounder from Luverne, Minn might have been the only Minnesota prospect in attendance but took hardware in two categories. Fastest in the lasered 40-yard dash at 4.54, fastest in the L-drill at 7.03, and second in the broad jump with a 9'8 are all very eye-catching numbers for college coaches to lock in and want quickly. Outside of testing, the live reps Darius put together had his competion on sakes as he showed off the blend of speed and change of direction to get plenty of reps that had ample seperation from the DB group. The explosiveness Darius gets after the catch is also what college coaches need to see, as his suddeness he showed off live and in person will surely get some more attention from college coaches this summer. A hidden gem out of Luverne to say the least.
