Darius is probably one of my favorite last second sign ups we have ever had at our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase throughout the years. The 5’11 165 pounder from Luverne, Minn might have been the only Minnesota prospect in attendance but took hardware in two categories. Fastest in the lasered 40-yard dash at 4.54, fastest in the L-drill at 7.03, and second in the broad jump with a 9’8 are all very eye-catching numbers for college coaches to lock in and want quickly. Outside of testing, the live reps Darius put together had his competion on sakes as he showed off the blend of speed and change of direction to get plenty of reps that had ample seperation from the DB group. The explosiveness Darius gets after the catch is also what college coaches need to see, as his suddeness he showed off live and in person will surely get some more attention from college coaches this summer. A hidden gem out of Luverne to say the least.

A standout wideout for the Luverne Cardinals’ last season, Dolo has been a consistent stock riser throughout 2025. On his junior tape, Dolo showcased standout athleticism and the ability to rack up some serious YAC gains. I really like his ball-tracking ability, especially when the passes are contested by a defender. He’s also shown off an impressive vertical, allowing him to go up and get deep balls that might otherwise be out of range. He’s also got upside as a returner. Dolo frequently finds open running lanes and uses his speed and quickness to gash defenders both north-south and east-west. He’s quick out of his breaks and proves to be a bracket-worthy threat frequently. I’m pumped to see what Dolo does next.

flashed his worth as a versatile playmaker for Luverne’s offense in 2024, and with an increased workload expected this year, Dolo is an emerging talent that is poised to make a break-through in this conference. Dolo caught 14 passes for 214 yards and a team-high 4 touchdowns, adding 229 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 9.5 yards per carry. Dolo is a high-quality athlete, with a 245 lb max bench and an impressive 37″ vertical jump. Dolo saw reps lined up out wide, in the slot, and in the backfield as the HB, and he possesses great ball-carrying vision and agility with the ball in his hands, being able to juke around defenders and change direction on a dime to find an open lane. Dolo could emerge as the No. 1 WR for Luverne in 2025, and with him continuing to gain plenty of reps in this starting lineup, Dolo could really prove pivotal for Luverne’s passing game after having mixed results last season.
