Fast-Rising Recruits Finally Seeing Recruiting Stock Trending Up

Some prospects in the Buckeye State have been flying under-the-radar for many months, but that has changed over the past couple of weeks as many of them have landed their first offers. Some of these prospects are likely to generate even more recruiting attention as college camp season rolls around and spring recruiting has kicked off in earnest. Since his freshman year, the 6-foot-3.5, 225 pound prospect has performed in a number of camps throughout the Midwest. Fisher is a rocked-up linebacker with great skills in coverage and very good instincts against the run, taking great angles to the ball. His most-recent offers include Sacred Hart and New Haven.     I first noticed Princeton Class of 2029 defensive back [player_tooltip player_id='2088427' first='Avery' last='Parker'] at his team's college day one year ago. Parker, the son of head coach Andre Parker, is a tough and physical safety with great coverage skills and outstanding closing speed v. the run. Parker has a nice frame with great height, size and plenty of time and room to grow. He recently picked up offers from Louisville, Kentucky and Michigan.     [player_tooltip player_id='1861369' first='Dario' last='Jeras'] is a Class of 2027 edge for Walsh Jesuit. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound prospect may lack ideal size for the position, but what he doesn't have in height he makes up for with a great motor, outstanding instincts, and great pursuit angles as a run defender. Jeras is a proven open-field tackler who can take on double team blocks, chase down ballcarriers and wrap up.     Walsh Jesuit Class of 2027 offensive tackle [player_tooltip player_id='1861663' first='Owen' last='Pelkowski'] probably deserves more Division I looks Pelkowski has a prototypical frame for the position and self-reports top academics with a 3.98 GPA. He is very good at working to the second level, firing forward off the line of scrimmage and creating vertical push in the run game. Tough and rugged, he is a great finisher with good hand placement, timing and latch. Keep an eye on him during summer camp season.
